If you buy underwear in Zimbabwe you know the two options. There is the imported brand that holds up but costs more than it should by the time it has passed through an importer and a retailer. And there is the cheap multipack that looks fine in the packet and has a rolled waistband and a hole in the seam within two months.
Knan exists because there was no reason for that to be the only choice. We cut and sew in Harare and we sell straight to you. That removes enough cost to make honest underwear affordable rather than aspirational.
We are a small operation in Harare. When you message the WhatsApp number, you are talking to the people who made the thing you are asking about.

We name the fabric
We would rather say nothing than guess. Where a product page does not yet state a composition, it is because we have not confirmed it — not because we are hiding it behind “premium cotton blend”. Ask and we will tell you what we know.
We over-build the parts that fail
Waistbands roll and seams split — those are the two things that end a pair of underwear. So we knit a heavier rib into the band and flat-lock the seams, and we accept that costs us a little more per unit.
We make it here
Cut and sewn in Harare. That keeps the work local, keeps our lead times short, and means we can fix a batch ourselves instead of emailing a factory in another time zone.
We sell direct
